Circa 1928 - 1930. This 5 piece lounge suite is of very good quality, hand made to a very high specification. As a one-off suite for someone of distinction, it is extremely well made. Hand veneered in sycamore, a very expensive wood in the 20's and 30's. This suite is similar to the subtle understated work of Oierre Chareau, the leading Art Deco designer/architect. The suite comprises a sofa, 2 armchairs and 2 upright chairs. Re-polished and re-upholstered in cream leather with black piping.
