The Society has been founded to protect the architectural and design heritage
of this century of the state of New South Wales..
With a core period of interest in the 1920s and 1930s, the scope of the
Society covers the years between 1915 and 1955 (...and beyond).
This broad scope is designed to encourage prospective members and friends
who not only share a passion for the Art Deco and Moderne, but enjoy a
variety of other pasttimes and interests.
Two key issues which form the platform upon which the Society is built are:
- A strong conservation policy covering architecture, furniture, fashion and the decorative arts.
- A vibrant and active social base.
Please join us in discovering all the wonders of our period of interest
whether it be the movies or the buildings... The automobiles or the
fashions... The songs or the dishes.
